These include expansive panelled walls, tiled bathrooms, and a shaker-style kitchen, ensuring comfort and style without exceeding financial limits. The thoughtful selection of materials and textures creates a cohesive coastal aesthetic, making the Berry Residence a perfect blend of practicality and visual appeal for modern family living.
Mood Board
Our clients were thrilled with the concept of blending the all-white Australian beach house aesthetic with the charm of a New Zealand cottage in this quaint beach town. We designed the house with a striking double gable frontage, featuring weatherboard cladding and a picket fence to capture the NZ cottage feel. The all-white color scheme accentuates the Australian beach house style.
Inside, shaker-style built-in joinery complements the all-white kitchen, paired with polished concrete floors for a modern touch. In the bathrooms, we introduced variety with terrazzo tiles and white HardieGroove walls. To add texture and warmth to the predominantly white palette, we used looped wool carpet. Skylights throughout the home ensure an abundance of natural light.
Creating this home for our wonderful clients was a joy, and we hope their young family makes many happy memories here.
